Accomplishments: This week I started with my fingerboard and finished sanding the top of it with a 12′ radius sanding block and cleaned out the dust and made the slots deeps enough for the frets to be placed in. I also cut out my headstock and sanded it using a belt sander and a spindle sander. To complete the sanding I used sandpaper to smooth and round out the edges. Finally, I started on working on the body and smoothing the edges with the belt and spindle sander
Tools: 12′ Radius sanding block, bandsaw, spindle and belt sander
Learned: This week I learned that if the frets are not fully placed then when a string is plucked the vibrations will not be able to go get the full sound
